3 Weeks Until Easter – Here are 16 Eggcellent Facts about Easter!
Easter is three weeks away and supermarkets are already selling their chocolate eggs. Children up and down the country always get excited this time of year as it means lots of Easter eggs and chocolate for them to enjoy.
Egg hunts are also very enjoyable for the young ones over Easter weekend, which falls on Sunday 16 April this year – the first Sunday following the full moon. A number of schools break up around the first week of April this year, with the children going back just after Easter Sunday.
This gives parents the opportunity to take their kids on egg hunts, a fun annual tradition for many I am sure. Perhaps none in England will ever break the record set in Florida, USA 10 years ago when 9,753 children went in search of an incredible 501,000 eggs on April 1 2007!

It weighed in at a staggering 7,200kg! I won’t be carrying one of those home this year…
