Its no secret that I love a game of bingo online. There is something fun and rebellious about playing bingo in your pjs with the cat sat on your lap and a cup of coffee in hand. I discovered online bingo when I was newly divorced. It was a lonely time with friends deciding which camp they were in so when I was saying to a friend that some days my only adult conversation was if I called the speaking clock she laughed and said about bingo. My first reaction was why on earth would I do that.
What I didn’t realize was that one of the biggest draws to online bingo is the chat facility. Over on the right hand side ( or left depends on the site) is a a window where people can chat she explained. I investigated and she was right. There they were chatting about the bingo game, not being told to sshhhh and congratulation each other on wins. In traditional bricks and mortar bingo halls you cant chat whilst the game is on as your concentrating in marking your numbers off and don’t want to miss that all important win. Plus you chatting away would disrupt the other players. With online bingo it automatically marks off your numbers so you can chat away to your hearts content, making friends and having conversations with like minded people and not miss a win.
I am sure I wasn’t the first single parent who was desperate for chatting and I sure wont be the last. Someone else has figured this out and some clever chap has decided to tackle 2 birds with one stone, or really several balls. They have set up BingoDate.com . So whilst you play bingo and creating friendships you can also check out potential dates too.
Of course it goes without saying that if you do arrange to meet someone off an internet site for a date to follow sensible precautions like making sure its in a public place and you let someone know where you are going.
