Wednesday, September 4: If you could take three months off from your current life and do anything in the world, what would you do?
So I am sat here looking out my window and its grey. No rain, no wind and no sun just grey. We have had the most glorious summer with back to back days of sunshine and to be honest I did mutter I was starting to get fed up with it. *gasp* How dare I say things like that when we spend the rest of the time complain about the rain. So today I get my wish and we have a change except I want the sun back again now. 2 hours of grey and a slight nip in the air and I am complaining already.
Day 2’s prompt is if I could take 3 months off what would I do. Well as its never ever going to happen unless its in my dreams so I would opt for 3 months of seeing the world. My children have been lucky enough to have travelled more than I have. I think I can just about name my holidays on one hand. As a child I remember 3 holidays . Bath, Norfolk Broads and Thames. As an adult we went to Spain when my daughter was 1 and then the ill fated honeymoon to Mexico which was supposed to be 2 weeks all inclusive but ended up 4 days and a hurricane.
Now I was going to say I would love to travel and visit lots of other countries and experience their food, clothes, smells and views. Yes I want to do all that but thats a bit watered down when you stay in hotels etc . I would like to travel the world living it through peoples lives. This is all fantasy thinking so my imagination is going a bit bonkers. Let me give some examples. Week 1 I would start in London and live the life for a week of a Londoner . I would have to do their job ( which of course in made-up land I can do any job), I would live in their house, shop for food, use their hover…etc. Then week 2 I would go to maybe Italy and do it all again Italian style. The 3 months would give me 12 different countries to experience and i think that way I would experience the countries much more than just sightseeing and hotel based.

3 months…well I’d totally travel too…I’ve always wanted to go to Brazil, Hawaii and New York, maybe spend a month in each country and seeing as this is in fantasy land I would have an unlimited amount of cash to spend as I see fit, which would give me the luxury of being able to do whatever I wanted like surfing, shopping, dancing, shopping. Also hotels wouldn’t water down my experience because I’d be able to afford to stay in the best ones….it’s fun to fantasise lol.
