E Harmony attacks the online dating scene a bit differently. Instead of letting you loose on the searching and unearthing, E Harmony sends you a daily list of profiles selected for you. The idea being that you filled out all the forms and ticked the relevant boxes and they do all the matching and hard work. If you want a good old nose around then this site might not be the right one for you. They do advertise though that they help you find the real thing instead of people who are after more casual set ups.
Again there is a very detailed questionnaire on what you are like and what you would like in a partner. But as said on Match.com review, the more time and effort you put in, the more you will get out of it. Because of the amount of info you have to give, boxes to be ticked and answers to be given E Harmony isn’t for the faint hearted and really aimed at those serious about finding the right partner.
Cost – Serious money for those serious about partner finding. Although there is a free version which you will see your daily matches, there won’t be any photos available. That’s about all you can do with the free version too. 1 month £34.95, 3 months £74.85, 6 month £89.70 and 12 month £119.40 does make it one of the most expensive sites to use.
A down side to E Harmony is the lack of features. You can’t see who has viewed your profile or search for people. It really is a site aimed at those serious about finding a partner.
