I have completely forgotten to introduce the newest member of the family. You've not missed that much, though, just lots of tiny sharp claws and tiny razor sharp teeth. He's currently loving chewing our feet, ankles, arms, shoulders and pretty much any part of you that he can clamp his teeth onto. Life is all games and excitement with bursts of running around then sudden crashing anywhere his eyelids have to close. He's already sent his first email. Didn't take long to work out a climbing ... Introducing Alfie …
Just Everyday Life
When they are little you know you have toddlers ( as if you needed hints on this *rolls eyes* ) from the sticky handprints on everything that's 2 foot and lower. You find apples in the fruit bowl each with one bite taken out of them. The bathroom looks like an assault course comprised of more toys that can actually fit in a bath tub. I was pretty sure if anyone thought I was missing I could be soon found by my trail of toast crumbs. I do wish someone had sat me down and read me these tips on managing family and work. As it was I seemed to muddle through and was doing most of these. Have A Routine Just as ... VIEW POST
Playing Dress Up & Being Grown Up
This weekend we went to a wedding. Not a fancy pants kind of wedding but a relaxed, colourful and all about fun kind of wedding. The dress code was garden party crossed with comfort. For someone who hasn't worn anything with a heal for many years let alone actually owning anything that wasn't jeggings or jeans it filled me with dread. Several dresses bought, discarded and returned later I found something I was comfortable enough in. I am considerably bigger than I use to be and not confident ... VIEW POST
