I love motivational quotes, inspiring quotes and time honoured sayings. I have them around the home to remind me and keep me in the right direction. Not sure if its rubbing off on the kids but they do read them at least once when a new one arrives and is put up. So I thought I would share with you today two that are in my head this pass week. First is 'if you cannot be positive than at least be quiet'. I try to be positive all the time and it irks me when people are nothing but negative. If ... VIEW POST

If You Told Me…
If you told me ten years ago that I was about to crash, burn out and get diagnosed with M.E I wouldn't have believed you. I wouldn't believe you if you also said I would have to completely change my life and at my worse I would have weeks at a stretch where I wouldn't be able to work. Last year – SOMEHOW – a friend managed to convince me to sign up for a sponsored tandem skydive. This involved being strapped to a bloke who then leapt with you out of a plane. I've no idea why I agreed to do that (although I have my suspicions – I had rather too many empty wine bottles to ... VIEW POST
My Life In Sofas
In my adult life I have moved around a fair bit. Bit of a wanderer trying to find the place I want to call home. Or in other words I was never sensible enough to have savings for a deposit and buy a house, I have always rented. Today I am sitting in a rather empty lounge, and somewhat cold just to add more atmosphere, waiting for my new sofas to arrive. Excited is an understatement and I need to keep myself busy while I wait so I just tried to remember all the sofas I have ever had. My life ... VIEW POST
