Wednesday, September 4: If you could take three months off from your current life and do anything in the world, what would you do? So I am sat here looking out my window and its grey. No rain, no wind and no sun just grey. We have had the most glorious summer with back to back days of sunshine and to be honest I did mutter I was starting to get fed up with it. *gasp* How dare I say things like that when we spend the rest of the time complain about the rain. So today I get my wish and we have ... VIEW POST

A Bit of This and A Bit of That
Tuesday September 3 – Describe where or what you come from. The people, the places and/or the factors that make up who you are. Ohh first prompt of Blogtember , how exciting. Hopefully I will last the distance and still this excitable on the last day. When thinking on who I am I do get a bit confused. You see I am a single mum to two teenagers so to start off this makes me a mum. But I don’t feel very mumsy. In my head I am still in my twenties or thirties not hurtling through my forties ... The strange stretchy rowing thing is also being used daily although my son nearly catapulted the TV remote across the room whilst ‘trying it out’ so he’s now banned from my toys. One of the most motivating things are the apps I am using. I have one where I scan or look up everything that passes my lips and it tells me how many calories I have left. Linked to that app is another one that ... VIEW POST
A Bullying Issue

I am so lucky that I wasn’t bullied at school; I didn’t see any bullying either. But then as a child I don’t remember really being aware of much. It wasn’t till I became a parent that I have become aware of these things. So as a parent what should we be looking out for? And is bullying just a ‘kid’ thing? As A ... VIEW POST
I’m Attempting Blogtember
Yes I know Blogtember isnt that an inspiring a name but I din't come up with it so there. A few months back I did Blog Every Day in May on one of my other blogs. In a nutshell it was blogging every day for the whole of May from a prompt that Jenni from Story of My Life had thought up and posted on her blog. Every day we due-fully did our posts, popped over to her post ( once she was up as she is from across the pond) had a read of her post then added our post to that days link up. Sounds easy if ...
