It’s all very well the landlord being really kind and sending one of his decorators in to paint the hallway and stairs but it’s had a knock on effect. I think my landlord and I have a fairly good relationship. I keep quiet and look after the house and he keeps quiet and appears only when I have nagged and nagged. It does suit us both well. I mentioned to him a few weeks ago that I can manage painting the rooms but the stairway was going to be beyond me. A few days later a painter has been ... VIEW POST
Painting …Again
How do you fit into the UK dating market in numbers?
You don’t need me to tell you what it’s like out there for UK singles – between putting on your dancing shoes, reading specs, and logging in online to find Mr Right, it can start to feel like you’ve tried everything. A single successful or dreary night can often lead to making generalisations that somehow stick with you, like being convinced that men from a certain country or even town would be much better for you than the local rag-tag bunch. Way to go Daily Mail in demoralising the children of single parent families and angering the single parents. Its thoughtless reports like this that fuel the medias sweeping interpretation that all single parents are bad and now children of single parents ... VIEW POST
Online Dating Interview – Claire

This week I caught up with Claire who recently got in touch to tell me about her recent online dating experience. Claire very kindly sat still long enough for me to ask her some questions. eHarmony is ... VIEW POST
Prom Diddly Um Pom Pom
And breathhhhhhhhh..... At last the prom/ball has been and gone. Prom day started early in our house due to my daughter being a tad excited and unable to sleep past 5am. I was awake too with my recurring nightmare that I hadn't ironed her dress keeping me from falling back to sleep. I had ironed the dress a week ago and then again a few days ago and yet again the night before but when I slept my brain kept playing tricks on me. ... VIEW POST
