Once you’ve made the decision to work from home, you may feel that your dream has come true. In many ways, it has. On the other hand, there are different issues you now face that may not have surfaced when you were working in an office. One of these is the problem of various distractions that are now present when you’re trying to get some work done.

While one of the top reasons for starting a work at home career is typically being able to spend more time with your family, having young children underfoot all day can definitely deter you from getting any decent amount of work completed. Many parents of young children have found that they need to turn to a part time babysitter or half days at a daycare center in order to get their work finished in a timely manner.
Some couples have made arrangements to split up the parenting duties so that each parent can work. If you work from home, this would most likely mean that you’ll do childcare during the day and you’ll work at night when your partner is there to take care of the children.
