Just over a week ago we posted about the benefit cap being rolled out across the UK. Gingerbread has looked at the DWP figures and found that 46% of the households affected will be single parents who claim income support. Income support is a benefit that is in place for those who are not in a position to work, like single parents who have a child under 4. Gingerbread also have said that 65% of those affected by the benefit cap will be single parent families as many will be pushed over the cap ... VIEW POST

How to become a bona-fide yummy mummy
When you first have children, it’s easy to let things like beauty and exercise regimes fall by the wayside. After all, you have children who rely upon you for literally everything, meaning you have very little time to yourself in the first few years. However, once they’re old enough to learn what it is to be independent, you can start to enjoy some me-time again. I mentioned to him a few weeks ago that I can manage painting the rooms but the stairway was going to be beyond me. A few days later a painter has been ... VIEW POST
How do you fit into the UK dating market in numbers?
You don’t need me to tell you what it’s like out there for UK singles – between putting on your dancing shoes, reading specs, and logging in online to find Mr Right, it can start to feel like you’ve tried everything. A single successful or dreary night can often lead to making generalisations that somehow stick with you, like being convinced that men from a certain country or even town would be much better for you than the local rag-tag bunch. Thinking along exactly the same lines as us, Posh ... VIEW POST
