Being frugal isn’t always about living a Fagen-type life. It’s more watching what we spend, throw away and if we really need things. You don’t have to take just my word for it though. I’ve wiped up a round up of some really great frugal posts to prove it.
First up is Wendy showing us how easy it is to Use Up Left Over Food. We waste so much food by over buying, cooking more than we need and generally thinking we need more than we do. Nicola at The Frugal Cottage is explaining how being frugal isn’t about deprivation in her post Deprivation Is Not Part Of The Journey which I totally agree. There are some things I can’t go without and will not compramise on. Coffee as its my luxury treat and toilet roll…ah just no.
Sometimes it’s about thinking outside the box. Looking at things in a new way and using what you have instead of buying new. Grillo Designs has a very inspiring post about using the strange, odd and lots of ‘I never thought of that’ for 23 Clever Planter Ideas. There are some really fun and clever ideas in there.
